Is Your Local Bar As Politically Correct As Southwest Airlines?

While thumbing through the October issue of Spirit Magazine on a recent Southwest Airlines flight I noticed this “autumn-inspired mixed beers” editorial that had renamed the always popular Irish Car Bomb to a more politically correct “Peacemaker”. Now I fully understand why the name change makes sense, but has this been implemented in bars everywhere? Would your local bartender know what to make if you ordered a “Peacemaker”? Is there a better name we can come up with?

  1. I don’t like the name change. People yelling out “Peacemaker” before they pound their drink just dose not care the same weight as “Car bomb”. And we are half way to St. Pat’s day. Drive safe friends.
