Granted this video was shot above one of the most beautiful oceans in the world, but even if you filmed off the coast of New Jersey from this arial point of view it would still be pretty darn cool looking.
It does have a way of making the whole experience seem more natural and fluid, propelled by nothing but moving water and the open ocean, whereas the wave-level camera can make it look like the surfer is just trying to outrun a freight train.
