Heavy rains flooded rivers in Upstate New York, washing away pumpkin patches and sending these orange beauties on the ride of their lives. Sure they’ll be a little soggy, but now you at least have the option of carving them with a plastic knife!

My cousin just started school at UCLA, and his first weekend out with his new friends, he spotted a pumpkin patch near a beach and said, “C’mon.” They bought a bunch of pumpkins, took them to the beach, and USED THEM AS BOOGIE BOARDS. Wait, did I say boogie boards? I meant BOOGIE GOURDS.
